Be In The Know!!!

Mark 8:32 – “And [Jesus] said this plainly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him.” Anytime we sin we are acting like Peter: thinking we know better than the Lord. But as Jesus says, such acts stem from Satan. So let us repent: let us trust our Lord Jesus and follow Him, for certainly He has earned our trust with His gracious sacrifice for us.

Today we will have Praise & Worship Time from 10:30-11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Please join us in coming before our Lord Almighty, to meditate, pray, sing, or just listen. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord," (Psalm 150:6).

Wednesday Night Lenten Meals – It has been decided to ask our members to sign-up to bring different food items for our Wednesday Night Lenten Meals this year, on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. A theme has been established for each meal, and the theme for this week’s meal is Spaghetti! The sign-up list is on the kitchen counter in the Fellowship Hall.

Our Midweek Lenten Services will continue this Wednesday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m. The overall theme of our services this year will be “Four Significant Days.” Under that overall theme, we will consider this Wednesday, “Significant Action”.

There is a March Calendar! If you would like a one, you can pick it up either in the Narthex or on the table by Pastor’s office.

Our Response to the Coronavirus – 1. We encourage any members who are in a high risk category to stay home, and watch our Worship Videos, and any members who are ill to stay home, until they are better. 2. We strongly encourage those who attend Worship in person to respect social distancing, and to consider wearing masks. If it appears we are out of socially distanced seating in the Sanctuary, see the Elder in the Narthex, and he will direct you to overflow socially distanced seating in the Fellowship Hall, where you will have full video and audio of our Worship Service on the large screen TV, with bulletins and hymnals. For Communion Distribution or a Children’s Message, an Elder will usher you back into the Sanctuary. 3. We encourage frequent and thorough hand-washing. There are jugs of hand sanitizer in the back and front of the sanctuary. 4. We have for now discontinued everyone greeting one another, and the offering plate will be on a table in the narthex. 5. Pastor will give a verbal greeting and an elbow bump or bow in the narthex at the end of Worship.

If you would like An Opportunity To Receive Holy Communion, please contact Pastor Bragdon by way of email, djb78945@gmail.com, or call or text his cell phone, 979-966-2242. He will work out something with you. Possibly you wish to come by Our Redeemer in your vehicle, and he would then come out and share the Sacrament with you right in your vehicle (incorporating social distancing). Or, if you wish to come by Our Redeemer, and come in, then he can do the same thing. Or, if you wish, he can come by your home, and again do the same thing. Just let him know, and he will work something out.
